I'm Andrew Formale. I'm a musician, and recent college graduate of the Purchase College New Media program. I play guitar in hardcore bands Breathtaker and The Legacy Hour, and have a strong interest for technology, photography and video production. I'm really quiet and shy upon meeting me. Once you get to know me though, you won't shut me up. I plan on using this thing to write game reviews, overviews of shows I attend, random thoughts on life, and maybe post some photography here and there. Enjoy.

I get to drive to DeSales in PA tomorrow at 7 in the godamn morning. Dropping my sister off at school. Not feeling tired in the least. Im looking at about…5 hours of sleep tonight. Yeah, that seems about right. No joke, I’m gonna have like 3 gigantic cups of coffee with me on the drive there. Its gonna be an adventure.
My dad went to the hospital this morning. He may have pancreitus, which isn’t anything SUPER serious, but still, shit makes me nervous. He’ll probably be there for a few days.
Oh, that hit on the ad for a new drummer that The Legacy Hour posted on craigslist (yeah were that fucking desperate), was a 41 year old drummer, from Chile, who had a barely legible accent. I’m so close to giving up on this shit.
I just found a bunch of old MiniDV tapes in my drawer. Poped em in the camera, one was an Of Sound and Silence show like 3 years ago, where we played not on a stage…but we set up in random spots in the venue. Like I was near the entrance, Andy was at the bar. Why the fuck we did it I have no idea. Just because we could I guess. The crowd looks like they felt really awkward, being SURROUNDED by the band, rather than watching us in front of them. Good times in OSAS.
Also found tapes up my first parties at SUNY Purchase. Me getting hammered on film, sigh. Shit was so funny. I was a lot fatter too. And had massive sideburns. And had a gigantic afro. Time fucking flies.
The new Emmure album is growing on me. At first I fucking hated it, but it’s actually not too terrible. I still think it sounds like Korn + Limp Bizkit + Breakdowns. I hate the direction their going in though..
