I'm Andrew Formale. I'm a musician, and recent college graduate of the Purchase College New Media program. I play guitar in hardcore bands Breathtaker and The Legacy Hour, and have a strong interest for technology, photography and video production. I'm really quiet and shy upon meeting me. Once you get to know me though, you won't shut me up. I plan on using this thing to write game reviews, overviews of shows I attend, random thoughts on life, and maybe post some photography here and there. Enjoy.

WHAT the FUCK is up with kids going to shows these days?
When I was younger, this is what I saw at shows: Everyone loving the music, no matter what style, how good or how bad, everyone moving around looking like an idiot and not caring. Everyone was friends, and if they weren’t they became friends. It was a grand ol’ time.
I go to shows today, and this is what I see: Trashy, dirty, whored-out 14 year olds who are so un-intelligent and ignorant that they don’t know a dick for a leg, whom also brag about how drunk they are and how many dudes they fucked. I also see arrogant tough guys who “own the pit” by targeting out random kids who are dancing, enjoying the show, because they look like a “fag”. I also see no one sticking around for the rest of the bands when they traveled across America to play for the people who PAID to get in. Oh, and lets not forget the fights that randomly break out for god knows what reason…”That dude hit me in the pit! I’ma fight him!” Of course he hit you, you’re in the pit.
Shows are for the experience of seeing a LIVE BAND and supporting them. Not looking pretty, acting tough, and forcing people to respect you and your scene. I honestly don’t know what happened.
